Hello!

I've just posted something about muffins but this is completely different: do you have any recipe for the best pie crust ever? The one you WANT to eat by itself and the one you WANT to lick the plate for. I have a feeling the crust needs a flavour for that - vanilla extract? Cinnamon? Please do share your ideas, I baked a pumpkin pie yesterday, the pie was good but the crust was very forgettable, I want a recipe I can use for a pie and freeze for many other pies.

Heavy cream, egg yolks and sugar. Does it get any simpler than this?

Everyone has their version of this cookie – from ingredients to name to shape, but the base is an almost shortbread-like cookie with finely ground nuts in the dough and then rolled in powdered sugar. And these are no different. My mom uses pecans and other than that, these are some of the easiest cookies ever. The only messy part is rolling them in powdered sugar, but hey – that’s a fun mess, right?

Finally getting around to finishing these off. Three more batches after this one, and I'll actually do all the resizing and saving of them tonight, so all that'll remain is to babble about them :D

So, after leaving the fabulous gloriousness of Club Med, Cherating Beach behind, we set our sights on the big smoke of KL. As I said in the last batch (...several months ago *cough*) we rented a car to drive back to KL with and stop off along the way. We aimed for Lake Chini, known for its lotus flowers and general tranquillity. Not so well known for its accommodation.

Hi, everyone. I'm hoping all of you lovely people can help me with something. (shocking, I know...)

I am a currently a sophomore at a small college in Massachusetts. I'm getting restless and bored with college as a whole, but I know I need to finish it out. That, along with the fact that I've always wanted to do this, has made me want to do some sort of summer travel that is at least semi-educational. Ideally, I'm looking for a group that will plan out travel and possibly stay together for the whole trip.

The only group I know of so far is Where There Be Dragons(http://www.wheretherebedragons.com/). I learned about them from a friend who did a summer program and is now spending a semester in India through them. I don't know how to go about finding more groups such as this, mostly because a lot of the trips this group offers have age limits I no longer fit.

Personal experiences or comments are great!

Edited to add: I should have mentioned that I really only want a summer program because I do plan on going abroad to Ireland senior year. I'm just looking for shorter summer programs. Thanks!

OK, here's a question about Trip/Maureen:

Trip wants to leave M. because she fabricated the Hudson Hero bit, but Trip thinks it's OK to have an affair with Serena while he's still married to M.? Does that make sense to ANYONE?
